CALL FOR KROC CENTER PHOTO EXHIBIT 2015
The Exhibition Committee has recently been in contact with the Gallery Director at the Kroc Center. They have invited us to prepare a show for exhibition at the center. This show will not be themed so any category (Landscape, People, Animals, Open, B/W, etc;) will be considered All MCC members who are interested are asked to submit photos for consideration in the show. These will be judged as jpeg digital files and a show chosen from these submissions will be forwarded to the Kroc Center for their final approval. Once the show is finalized you will be asked to submit finished prints matted and framed for hanging. The maximum matted and framed print may not exceed 20”x24”.
Each club member may submit up to five (5) images for consideration. The images should be sized as 1024 pixels on the long side and 72 DPI. Please, follow the instructions for preparing files for digital competition. The instructions are on the MCC website. Image file names should be the title of the image Please email your files as attachments to Papossel@comcast.net (Patti Possel) by June 1, 2015.
The show will hang in The Junior League of Memphis Art Exhibit Hall in the KROC Center August 30- September 26, 2015. An Opening Reception is scheduled for Sunday August 30, 2015 from 1:30-3:00 pm.
The Committee feels this is an excellent opportunity to exhibit the club’s work in this beautiful venue. We hope each of you will join us in this venture.
