The mission of the Memphis Camera Club is to provide its members, from beginners to professionals, with educational and skill building opportunities in the art of photography. Membership in the Memphis Camera Club is open to anyone with an interest in photography and all skill levels are welcome.

Friedel, Matt. Stewart, E. I. Pinnef; Treasurer and Secretary, Geo. O. Friedel, 165 Gayoso Street, Memphis, Tenn. Place of meeting, 38 Madison Street. Ordinary meetings, first and third Tuesdays in each month. Special meetings can be called by Chairman of Board of Directors. Annual meeting, first Tuesday in April. Membership September 1; Honorary, 3; active, 32; total, 35. Exhibitions: Stereopticon, at irregular intervals. Prints, once a year, but at no stated period.
According to newsletters that were saved and donated to the club we know that the club has met in some varied venues over the years. Churches, The Pink Palace and even members homes. In 1993 we were fortunate to be offered the Longinotti Auditorium at St Francis Hospital for a meeting place. We have met there since.
The Memphis Camera Club strives to address the needs of photographers at all skill levels through field trips, photo competitions, educational programs and speakers. We’d like to see you come back often to not only find out what the club is doing, but to use the links on our site as your photography resource.
We meet the first four Thursdays of the month in the Longinotti Auditorium in the back of St. Francis Hospital off park street.
